MAROUSSIA DUBOIS 

There is always a gap between reflection and self-image. A space between the image that belongs to us, the one we project and the one we see in the mirror. Turned upside down, it appears in the symmetry of our face, with a receding image. 
The false mirror then imposes itself, to go beyond the mirror, beyond this false and elusive symmetry, to invite beauty in asymmetry. The mirror, in its new identity, is itself inverted, unbalanced, to become surrealistic and strong, to invite our energies, our feelings, our intentions. It then allows us to recreate our own features in the chosen and desired image, embodied in the colours, the line, this vaporous and irrational tulle, finally offering to the eye the fabulous spectacle of our soul.
